CytCut 3.5: Wound Healing Assay Tool - Non Autoclavable

Two-Component System: Features a:

• (1) Sample Translation Platform (base holder) to securely align a standard multi-well plate, and a
• (2) Scratch-Tips Component (STC) or multi-pin head that moves within the platform.

Simultaneous Scratching: The multi-pin head is designed to create wounds across all wells of a plate in a single, simultaneous mechanical action.

Precision Tip Geometry: Tips are oriented substantially perpendicular (approx. 90°) to the cell culture surface, ensuring consistent scratch width, depth, and edge quality.

Durable & Reusable: Manufactured from high-strength, autoclavable polymers. Beta-tested devices have shown durability for over 6 months of continuous use.

Full Sterilization Compatibility: Compatible with standard lab sterilization methods, including ethanol, IPA, or UV light. Version 3.5 is not-Autoclavable!

Multi-Well Format: This product is availavble for standard 48 and 24-well plates. (Future versions for 12, and 96-well plates are planned ).

Automation-Level Reproducibility: Drastically reduces scratch width variability from ~50% (common with pipette methods) to <15% .

Drastic Time Savings: Reduces the time to wound an entire 48-well plate from 5-10 minutes down to 10-20 seconds.

Seamless Workflow Integration:

• Functions as a simple, analog tool that requires no proprietary consumables, no software, and no changes to existing lab protocols.

CytCut™ Order Policy

Thank you for supporting CLYTE Technologies. You are ordering CytCut 3.5 (Only available to US and Canada), a new tool for the scientific community. Please read this policy carefully, as your pre-order purchase constitutes your agreement to these terms.

1. Made to order:

Your order helps fund custom production of your CytCut 3.5. You are not purchasing an in-stock item. You are purchasing a made-to-order product with the understanding that this process has risks and can be subject to delays.

We have completed successful beta-testing and have a finalized design; however, we are continuously improving our products, and thus by placing a order, you acknowledge and agree that the final product you receive may have minor modifications from the images shown.

Our team's commitment is to deliver a high-quality, validated tool to you. We will communicate with you regularly about our production progress.

 

2. Order Cancellation & Refund Policy

"Cooling-Off" Period (Full Refund): You may cancel your order for a full, no-questions-asked refund (minus processing fees) within 14 days of placing your order.

After the Cooling-Off Period (No Refund): After this 14-day window, your order is considered final and non-refundable. At this stage, your funds are committed to the manufacturing and production of your unit and can no longer be recalled.

3. Fulfillment & Shipping Policy (Our Legal Commitment)

This policy is designed to comply with the FTC's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule and New York state consumer protection laws.

Estimated Shipping Date: Our target shipping window for CytCut 3.5 orders is within 14 days of order. This is an estimate, and we will work to meet or beat this target.

Communication of Delays: If we encounter a manufacturing or shipping delay that will prevent us from shipping your order by the estimated date, we will notify you immediately via email.

• Your Rights in a Delay: Per federal and state law, this notification will provide you with:

  A new, revised estimated shipping date.

  The clear option to either consent to this new date OR cancel your order for a full refund (minus processing fee).

If you request a refund due to a delay, it will be processed within 14 business days.

 

CytCut™ Product Agreement & Return Policy

4. "For Research Use Only" (RUO) Agreement

You acknowledge and agree that CytCut™ is sold as a "For Research Use Only" (RUO) product.

• This product is not a medical device.

• It is intended solely for internal research, laboratory, and development purposes.

• It is not to be used for any in vivo, diagnostic, prognostic, or therapeutic procedures on humans or animals.

• CLYTE Technologies disclaims all liability for any use of the product outside of its intended RUO purpose.

 

5. Return & Limited Warranty Policy

Returns (Non-Defective Products): Due to the scientific and sterile-use nature of this product, we do not accept returns for non-defective (buyer's remorse) items once the sealed packaging has been opened. If the product is unopened and in its original, sealed packaging, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery for a refund, less a 30% restocking fee.

Limited Warranty (Defective Products): We warrant that CytCut™ will be free from defects in materials and workmanship and will conform to our product specifications for a period of [e.g., 90 days] from the date of delivery.

• What This Warranty Covers: If your device fails to perform according to its specifications due to a manufacturing defect within this period, we will, at our sole discretion, either:

  Repair the product.

  Replace the product with a new unit.

• What This Warranty Does NOT Cover: This warranty is void if the product failure is due to user error, improper sterilization (e.g., using a non-compatible method that melts the plastic), accidental damage, or any modification of the device.
