    We tested it!

we rigorously tested the 3.0 beta version, with multiple users on a 48-well plate, sanitized with ethanol, and scratched in matters of seconds. our novice users yielded up to 15 bad scratches with the device, while users that used it for at least a week usually yielded 4-7. Since the beta was fdm, we are hoping the variability drops to 1-2 per plate using the final product.

    very good for the price

We initially tested CytCut alongside our standard pipette-tip method and immediately noticed improved consistency across wells. While the beta version still showed some variability, it was clearly more reproducible than manual scratching and significantly faster. Over several months of routine use, both our success rate and comfort with the device improved. We have ordered the final product for our regular use!

    great for imageJ

We do a lot of scratch assays and migration analysis with ImageJ and always have the problem of getting consistent data across users. This device has significantly standardized our input and resulting data. Definitely game changing!
